SB-1130 “Broadband for CA” (Lena Gonzalez) - Provide 98% of CA households with future proof broadband infrastructure by 2025. Provides that broadband access is of quality and accessible to all income levels.

SB-1120 (c/a Lena Gonzalez) - Automatically allow 2 residential units in a single-family zone. Would not be subject to CEQA. Can not remove renters to increase units on a lot.

SB-1410 COVID Rent Relief (Caballero / Bradford) - Would institute numerous renter protections during Covid Crisis, including continued eviction moratorium, halt rent increases, and leanient payback plan for back rent.

AB-66 Restrictions on Crowd Control (c/a Lena Gonzalez) - Ban the use of kinetic energy protectiles and chemical agents from being used in crowd control. Requires agencies to report anytime one of these methods is used.

AB1196 Chokehold Ban (Gipson) - Ban the use of Chokeholds by law enforcement offices, and apply to use of force standards Statewide.
